What is it?

Analytics Hub is a data exchange that allows you to efficiently and securely exchange data assets across organizations to address challenges of data reliability and cost. Clario uses Analytics Hub to surface curated data assets for your use.

Benefits

Save costs and efficiently share and exchange data

Analytics Hub builds on the scalability and flexibility of BigQuery to streamline how you consume data provided by Clario. Data can be quickly incorporated into an existing Google Cloud project; you are only billed for analysis of the data, Clario carries the storage cost.

Centralized management of data and analytics assets

Analytics Hub streamlines the accessibility of data and analytics assets. In addition to Clario curated datasets, you can access public, industry, and Google datasets.

Private and secure sharing with governance

Data shared within Analytics Hub automatically includes in-depth governance, encryption, and security from BigQuery.

Getting Connected

Step 1

You will need a Google Cloud account to use Analytics Hub. If you need to create one, please see Google's guide. Provide your Clario Customer Success representative the address(es) you would like to have access granted to.

Step 2

Step 3

Click the Add Data link.

Step 4

Click Analytics Hub.

Step 5

Enter the term Clario Data Share to filter the list. Click the Clario Data Share tile.

Step 6

Click the Add Dataset to Project button.

Step 7

On the subsequent screen, verify that project and linked data source name meet your expectations (you can customize the dataset name to suit your purposes). Click Save once you are satisfied.

Note

You may see a warning indicating that the analytics hub API needs to be enabled before you are able to add the dataset to your project. If you see this warning, click the Enable Analytics Hub API button.

The dataset will now be visible within your project hierarchy and available for you to interact with.

Your Clario Customer Success representative will advise once the data exchange is ready for you to use. To integrate it into an existing Google Cloud Project, navigate to the -> BigQuery -> SQL Workspace.
